Magiranger Toy Phones

Every season Bandai Japan releases toys based off the show's gear. The Magiphone, Uzaphone, and Grip Phone are all being sold as of 2005.

Two different versions of MagiPhone are available: the DX Series, which is an almost exact replica of the show prop with light-up features and sounds, and the Handy Series, a compact version without sounds or lights. MagiPhones are available from a variety of foreign online toy stores such as Toys 'n' Joys and Hobby Link Japan, and occassionally go on Ebay from a Taiwan distributor. UzaPhone and Grip Phone are only available in the DX versions. Each costs $40-70 US after shipping.

The Magiphone and Uzaphone come with listed default spells which provoke a response based on the show's spell when dialed and entered. All other spell combinations produce a sound relevant to the final syllable entered. e.g. Jinga Majiiro when entered makes the sound for the "Majiiro" button.

The Magiphone has nine default spells:

Mahou Henshin: Maaji Maji Majiiro 1-0-6
Mahou Dai Henshin: Maaji Maji Majika 1-0-7
MaRyuu Gattai (Dragon): Maaji Jiruma Jinga 1-2-5
Majin Gattai (King): Maaji Jiruma Maji Jinga 1-2-0-5
Enhanced Blade (King): Jii Maji Majiiro 8-0-6
Finishing Attack: Jiruma Majuna 2-9
Elemental Attack: Jii Majika 8-7
Transform Magistick (Bow Gun): Jii Jijiru 8-3
Elemental Power: Maji Majika 0-7

The UzaPhone has seven default spells. Uu and Zazaado become 4 and 8 for the buttons :

Majin Gattai: Uuza Douza Uru Zanga 1-2-0-5
Madou Fusion: Uuza Douza Zanga 1-2-5
Summon: Uu Zazare 4-3
Resurrection: Douza Uzaara 2-6
Grow: Uuza Uru Ugaro 1-0-7
Magical Wolf Attack: Douza Uru Zazaado 2-0-8
Blast: Zazaado 8

The Grip Phone does not feature dialed spells but each of its buttons produces a unique sound. The spells come in the form of assorted cards to be manually punched as Hikaru does. Included are Change cards, Travelion Magitickets, MagiLamp cards, and blank cards.

A phone specifically for MagiMother was released with her return. It features all of the original syllables and spells present on the regular Magiphone.

A limited edition gold Grip Phone was packaged with a deluxe Travelion set as part of a special Japan toy release. It features the cards of the regular Grip Phone, additional new cards, and plays all of the Golu syllables instead of random sounds on its buttons.
